London, Jun 18 (UNI) While the world was engrossed in the ICC Champions Trophy title clash between India and Pakistan at London, the Indian hockey team decimated Pakistan by winning the semi final in Pool B match of Hockey World League by 7-1 here today. With this victory, the Indian team has reached the top of Pool B with nine points. Drag flicker Harmanpreet Singh, Talwinder Singh and Akashdeep Singh scored twice, while Pradeep Mor scored one goal. Pakistan's only goal was made by Muhammad Umar. The Indian team, led by Manpreet Singh, lead 3-0 in the first half, after which Pakistan had no chance of making a comeback. Team India's first goal was scored by drag flicker Harmanpreet in the 13th minute on a penalty corner. This was the second goal in Harmanpreet's tournament. In the 21st minute of the second quarter, Talwinder scored a fine goal after a brilliant effort from Sardar Singh from the left end. SV Sunil deflected the ball and Talwinder netted the ball in the final moments. In the 24th minute, Talwinder made another spectacular goal by leading India 3-0. With the start of the second half, Harmanpreet converted a penalty corner for India. India has now moved ahead by 4-0. Akashdeep Singh scored India's fifth goal in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute, Pardeep Mor completed a beautiful goal from a difficult angle. After conceding six goals, Pakistan changed its goalkeeper. Pakistan scored their first goal in the 57th minute, Mohammad Omar reduced the margin of defeat by field goal. But in the 59th minute, Akashdeep netted his second goal and gave India a 7-1 win.
