Bengaluru, April 22 (UNI) Bengaluru police were on high alert on Monday after receiving a threatening letter claiming that explosives had been planted at a city restaurant.
The alarm was raised when officers received a letter from a postman around 12:30 pm, warning of a bomb at Hotel Kadamba. The sender not only threatened the establishment but also boasted about being behind a recent Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Rameshwaram Cafe.
Following the receipt of the letter, the bomb squad was deployed to Hotel Kadamba for a thorough search. Fortunately, their investigation revealed that the threat was a hoax, and no explosives were found on the premises.
