HMDA fetches about Rs 172 crore through e-auction of plots

Hyderabad, Dec 14 (UNI) The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has fetched about Rs 172.27 crores through e-auction of plots at Uppal Bhagayath Phase I and II here on Saturday, HMDA said in a statement said.
According to the statement, in the first session, 29 plots with an average of 6623.5 Sq Yds held in e-auction and rakes in about Rs 40.04 crore while in the second session, about Rs 132.22 crore raised by auctioning of 29 plots with an average of 32,821.5 Sq Yds in total.
The HMDA was highly elated with the response received from the prospective buyers.
Plot number 1302 consisting of 166 Sq Yds fetched Rs.77,000 per Sq Yds, highest bid of the day in the first session while the plot number 105 consisting of 822 Sq Yds fetched Rs.76,600 per square yard which is the highest bid for second session.
Totalling Rs 172,27,02,450 fetched through auction of plots in first and second sessions.
