HM to inaugurate workshop on disaster management

New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate a two-day International Workshop on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (IWDRI) here on Monday.
The workshop is being organised jointly by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR).
A cross – section of stake holders including multilateral development banks, the United Nations, the private sector and academics are expected to participate in the event.
The workshop will bring together countries from different parts of the world and will be a great opportunity to learn from their unique experiences in their efforts towards building disaster resilient infrastructure, an official statement said.
