History-sheeter ‘Fruit Irfan’ shot dead during son’s wedding ceremony

Hubballi, Aug 7 (UNI) A history-sheeter was killed after unidentified assailants opened fire on him outside a commercial complex near Gudihal Cross on Karwar Road in Hubballi last evening, police said on Friday.
Police identified the deceased as Irfan alias “Fruit Irfan”.
His son’s marriage ceremony was being held at the Al-taj Restaurant in the complex when the shoot-out occurred when he was speaking over the phone by the roadside here.
