Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) The Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association (TAAPMA) will organise HIPLEX 2026, one of India's largest international plastics exhibitions, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre here from August 7 to 10.
The four-day event, themed "The Rise of Atmanirbhar & Viksit Bharat in Amrit Kaal: Invest to Transform," is being organised with the support of the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals under the union Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Telangana government, the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and several national plastics industry associations.
The expo will bring together manufacturers, technology providers, buyers, policymakers and entrepreneurs from India and overseas to showcase the latest machinery, raw materials, processing technologies, recycling solutions and finished products across the plastics value chain.
In a release , HIPLEX 2026 Convener Meela Jayadev said the exhibition would serve as a platform for technology transfer, business networking, investment and market expansion.
He said Hyderabad's industry-friendly ecosystem and strategic location make it an ideal venue for a large-scale international industrial exhibition.
Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which featured 480 exhibitors, attracted over 41,600 business visitors and occupied 17,000 sq m of exhibition space, the organisers have expanded this year's event to 26,000 sq m, making it the largest edition of HIPLEX to date.
The exhibition will feature live demonstrations of plastics processing machinery, a dedicated recycling pavilion, knowledge sessions, business networking opportunities and displays covering plastics processing equipment, moulds and dies, specialty chemicals, master batches, printing and packaging solutions, quality testing equipment, post-processing technologies and finished products.
The organisers expect participation from hundreds of exhibitors and tens of thousands of trade visitors representing sectors including packaging, automotive, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing.
