HIMCOSTE releases booklet on flora, avi-fauna diversity

Shimla,Jul 7(UNI) Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday released a booklet by Himachal Pradesh Council for Science Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE) depicting a rich flora and avi-fauna of the state.
Appreciating the efforts of the Council, Mr Thakur said that the booklet contains detailed pictorial description and scientific information regarding Avifauna of the state.
The Chief Minister further said that in the present COVID-19 pandemic situation, the importance and preservation of biodiversity of Himalayan region was highly significant.
