Himachal receives light snowfall and rain

Shimla, Feb 28(UNI) Light rainfall lashed few areas of Himachal Pradesh and some places in the high reaches experienced light snowfall during the past 24 hours.
Gondla and Hansa in Lahaul Spiti district received five mms of snowfall each and Keylong received four mm of snow fall.
Chamba received 20 mm rain, Manali in Kullu 15 mm, Dalhousie in Chamba 11 mm, Theog in Shimla 10 mm, Bhuntar in Kullu six mm , Mandi and Baldwara five mm each, Aghar in Hami, Jogindernagar in Mandi, Jubbal in Shimla, Sarahan and Palampur in Kangra four mm each, Pandoh and Bijahi in Mandi, Khadrala in Shimla, Bajura in Kullu and Kalpa in Kinnuar three mm each, Dharamshala in Kangra, Janjheli in Mandi and Sujanpur Tira in Hamipur two mm each.

UP: Six get lifer for murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005

Lucknow, March 29 (UNI) Six persons were held guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment along with a combined penalty of Rs 11.65 lakh by a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court here on Friday in more than 19-year-old case related to murder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Raju Pal and his associates, an official spokesman said here.
