Himachal Industries Min distributed 550 Gas connections in Jaswan Pragpur village

Kangra, Dec 8 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Industries, Technical Education and Labour and Employment Minister Bikram Thakur on Sunday distributed 550 gas connections and gas stoves under ‘Grahni Suvidha Yojna’ among beneficiaries belonging to 24 Pancahyats of Jaswan Pragpur assembly segment at Kaloha and also announced 35 solar lights and a gym for Kaloha Panchayat.
The Minister said that under "Grahni Suvidha Yojna", a total of 2,398 gas connections were distributed among the beneficiaries of Jaswan Pragpur assembly segment so far. He said that till December 27, this year, when Jai Ram Thakur Government will complete its two years, not even a single house hold will be left without a gas connection in Jaswan Pragpur assembly segment.
He asked the people to take benefit of the welfare programs undertaken by the present government. He said that the state government was committed for the upliftment of the deserving and needy people of the state and all efforts were being made so that not even a single such family was deprived of their right of upliftment.
On this occasion, the residents of Silati village donated three kanals of land to the government through the Minister for the setting up of a Health center there. Kaloha village Up Pradan Manoj Kumar welcomed the Minister and raised some demands. The minister accepted the demands and directed the concerned officers to take appropriate action in this direction in a time bound manner.
A delegation of Himachal Pradesh New Pension Scheme Association, led by State Vice President Sourab Ved, met the Minister and demanded that the old pension scheme be re-implemented in the state in the interests of the pensioners. The Minister assured them that he would take up matter with the Chief Minister.
Later on, the Minister heard the grievances of the people and most of them were sorted out on the spot and for remaining grievances the concerned officers were directed to sort them out in a time bound manner.
