Himachal govt sanctions Rs 100 cr each for Jwalamukhi, Naina Devi temple development

Jwalamukhi (Kàngra), Oct 15 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today announced that Rs 100 crore each has been sanctioned for the beautification and development of Maa Jwalamukhi and Maa Naina Devi temples as part of the state's ambitious plan to promote religious tourism.
He said that Rs 56.26 crore has been approved for Maa Chintpurni Temple, where a grand complex worth Rs 250 crore is under construction.
"To maintain the sanctity and standards of traditional worship, priests are being provided with specialized training. Recently, 15 priests from Maa Chintpurni and 10 from Maa Naina Devi temples underwent online training through Banaras Hindu University," he added.
