Himachal Cong demands increase in ex-gratia to kin of Pulwama martyrs

Shimla, Feb 22 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh Rathore today demanded increase in the ex-gratia to Rs one crore and pension of Rs 11,000 to the families of the martyrs and also proposed provision of government jobs to one of the members of the martyr's family.
Addressing the media at Rajeev Bhawan state party office here on Friday, Mr Rathore said that he would write a letter to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to increase ex-gratia assistance from Rs 25 lakh to one crore following the policy of Congress ruled state of Punjab and Madhya Pradesh which decided to pay Rs one crore to any martyrs who die in the terrorist attacks, fighting on the border and in natural calamities while serving in Armed forces.
