Himachal CM urges Centre to ease norms for hill states under e-Bus Sewa Scheme

Shimla, Jan 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today called on union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi and urged the union government to provide special relaxations for hill states under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme, citing operational constraints posed by difficult geographical conditions.
On this, Minister Khattar assured the Chief Minister of all possible assistance to Himachal Pradesh.
The Chief Minister informed that no specific relaxations have been provided to hill states under the scheme, which has limited Himachal Pradesh’s ability to avail its benefits despite the state’s strong commitment to green and sustainable mobility.

Sambhal, Feb 16 (UNI) In Sambhal district, Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi suspended the entire Special Operations Group (SOG) team after serious allegations of extortion were found to be prima facie true. The action followed an inquiry conducted by Circle Officer Alok Kumar Bhati, officials confirmed on Monday.
The suspended officers include the SOG in-charge, Sub-Inspector Mohit Chaudhary, as well as Head Constables Kulwant and Arshad, and Constables Ajanbi, Ayush, Vivek, Brijesh, and Hiresh.
