Himachal BSE Donates Rs 21 lacs for COVID-19 efforts

Dharamshala, Apr 4 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, (HPBSE) Dharamshala contributed Rs 21 lakhs for the Himachal Pradesh COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund on Saturday here in response to the appeal made by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
Shairng this information Chairman of HPBSE Dr Suresh Soni told UNI that in addition to this, the officers and officials of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education have also donated Rs 5.47 lakhs towards the fund in
the state's fight against the coronavirus.
Meanwhile spokesperson of Non Gazetted Officers Federation of Tanda Medical College Sandeep Dogra said that the federation had decided to contribute their one day salary to the fund.
