Dhaka, Sep 10 ( UNI) Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Shafeenul Islam on Monday said they will deploy as much force as possible to maintain law and order across the country during the upcoming parliamentary elections.
All the other workloads will be minimized so that we can deploy highest number of personnel, said the BGB DG while talking to reporters at a press conference at the BGB headquarters. Responding to a query about the arms smuggling through the unguarded border area with India ahead of the
national polls, the BGB boss said they already have taken extra effort to tackle this challenge.
