High-speed train crashes in Ankara, multiple injuries reported

Ankara, Dec 13 (UNI) A Turkish high speed train crashed into an overpass at a train station here on Thursday morning, causing many casualties.
The accident occurred when the train was traveling between Ankara and the central Turkish province of Konya, reported Xinhua.
Video footage showed emergency workers at the scene, where carriages were trapped beneath the mangled metal wreckage of an overpass.
Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin reportedly told the media that four people had died and 43 injured in the crash, but this has not been confirmed.
Ambulances, fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
