New Delhi, Jan 20 (UNI) Towards strengthening digital initiatives for enhanced and contactless customer experience, Hero MotoCorp has commenced online bookings of the XPulse 200 4 Valve motorcycle.
These are bookings for the second batch after the first lot was completely sold out following a strong positive response and widespread acceptance from customers. Priced at Rs 130,150 (ex-showroom – Delhi), the motorcycle can be booked at company’s online sales by making an advance payment of Rs 10,000. The user-friendly system guides the customers through all the relevant steps of making a decision, buying the vehicle and taking delivery.
Pointing out the growth of premium-motorcycle demand, Naveen Chauhan, Head of Sales and Aftersales says that with another batch of online bookings the company expects to meet the ever-increasing demand for XPulse 200 4 Valve in the country.
With its on-road-off-road readiness, cutting-edge technology, and distinct styling, the XPulse – India's first 200cc adventure motorcycle has been named ‘Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2020. The new XPulse 200 comes with a 200cc BSVI 4 valve oil cooled engine that offers 6% more power and 5% added torque, thereby ensuring a relaxed and stress-free ride at high speeds. The improved transmission setup in XPulse 200 4V offers better strength and durability, while the gear ratio has been updated for better tractive effort and acceleration.
In another development, Hero MotoCorp’s Centre for Innovation & Technology (CIT) has become the first research and development facility to receive a green rating by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Green Business Centre, as part of the Green Company rating system.
The ‘GreenCo Platinum’ rating makes the R&D centre the only unit to receive a green rating under the CII–Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) scheme.
Inaugurated in March 2016, the Hero CIT is a state-of-the-art facility located in Jaipur where nearly 1000 tech experts and automotive engineers drawn from around the world are engaged in designing and developing modern, technologically superior mobility solutions for customers in the company’s global markets across 43 countries in Asia, Africa, South and Central America, and the Middle East.
