Heritage Foods Revenue from oprs up by 12.4 pc to Rs 721.20 crore in QI FY 2019-20

Hyderabad, Jul 31 (UNI) Heritage Foods Limited, one of the leading private dairy players in India, has declared its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2019.

The company’s total Revenue from operations increased by 12.4 per cent to Rs 721.20 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 641.60 crore during the same period in the last financial year, a company statement here said on Wednesday.

The net profit stood at Rs 18.1 crore and EBDITA at Rs 48.7 crore.

Commenting on the results, Ms Brahmani Nara, Executive Director, Heritage Foods said, “Our efforts in increasing the depth of the brand across existing and new markets has been paying off well in the form of good growth rates at revenue level. Profitability is a function of increasing volumes in newer markets and value added products, which the company has been working very actively and we should see the results in the coming quarters''.

She further said that, “The cost of procurement during the first quarter is generally high due to summer and we had not passed on all the cost to consumers”.
