Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Sep 21 (UNI) In the past 24 hours, an average 15.6 mm rainfall was recorded in the Marathwada region as unabated heavy rains continued to lash the eight districts on fifth consecutive day, stated weathermen here on Monday.
On Sunday, the district of Jalna recorded the highest 29 mm rainfall followed by Nanded (21.8), Osmanabad (19.8), and 12.2 mm each in Beed and Latur.
Meanwhile, parts of Jalna, Beed and Nanded were drenched in very heavy downpour measuring 65 mm and above, they apprised, adding that the remaining districts of Aurangabad, Parbhani and Hingoli were soaked in mild showers.
