Heavy rains claim five lives in Solan

Solan, Aug 18 (UNI) Continuing playing the havoc, unremitting rains claimed five lives in Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial belt in this district on Sunday.
In the first incident, two people were buried alive when a residential building caved in at Manakpur village under Baddi police station on Sunday afternoon. Their bodies were recovered by the rescue teams of police, fire and home guards while wife of one of them whose leg was fractured was rushed to a hospital.
In second case, a migrant labourer of Beldi village of Saharan district of Bihar, was also buried alive when a boundary wall of Dabur India Limited collapsed owing to torrential rain at Baddi. Two other laboureres who were injured in the accident were immediately rushed to a hospital
