Heavy rainfall likely in Tamil Nadu, Kerala in next 24 hours

Pune, Oct 20 (UNI) With the Northeast Monsoon being active over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Poducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during next 24 hours, predicted the Indian Meteorological Department in a bulletin here today.

It further said that heavy rainfall is also likely at isolated slices in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep during the period.
