Heavy rainfall likely in southern, western parts of India in next 24 hours

Pune, Jul 21 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places, with extremely heavy spells at isolated nooks, is very likely to occur in Kerala and Mahe during next 24 hours , predicted the Indian Meteorological Department in a bulletin here today.
The Met further said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at a few pockets of coastal & south interior Karnataka and at isolated stretches of Lakshadweep, Konkan, Goa and Gujarat during the period.
Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated divisions of north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Rayalseema, Madhya Maharashtra, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during the period.
