Heavy rain likely to occur in Telangana in next 3 days: Met

Hyderabad, Jul 13 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram-Bheem, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Siricilla, Jayashakar-Bhupalpally, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu of Telangana during the next three days, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next three days and in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
South west Monsoon has been active in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema and normal in Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Heavy Rain occurred at isolated places in Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Adilabad and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts of Telangana, East Godavari, West Godavari of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Chittoor district of Rayalaseema during the same period.
Rainfall occurred at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and at a few places in Telangana & Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added.
