Heavy rain likely to occur in North Coastal AP in next 24 hrs: MET warns

Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours starting from 0830 hours on Sunday, Meteorological Department warned.

In a bulletin here, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Southwest monsoon has been normal in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.

Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh .
