Heavy rain likely in North Coastal AP & Rayalaseema: Meteorological Department

Amaravati, Oct 10 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam over the next four days, and in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours, the Meteorological Centre said today.
In its daily weather report, the department stated that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at many places, or at a few places, over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are likely at isolated locations in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema over the next five days.
