Head clerk of Veterinary hospital arrested accepting bribe

Jamui, Dec 7 (UNI) Sleuths of Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today arrested Ajit Kumar
Sinha, head clerk of Veterinary hospital in Jamui district while he was accepting
Rs 20,000 as bribe from a staff of his office.
Official sources said here that Ashok Kumar, a staff of Veterinary hospital had
lodged a complaint with vigilance bureau that head clerk Ajit Kumar was demanding
Rs 20,000 as bribe from him to rectify error in date of his birth certificate.
On the basis of complaint lodged by him, head clerk Mr Kumar was caught red
handed by sleuths of vigilance bureau while he was accepting Rs 20,000 as bribe
from complainant, sources added.
"Arrested head clerk is being taken to Patna for interrogation in vigilance
headquarters and his subsequent production before the special vigilance court,"
sources stated.
