HDFC opens its 100th branch in Bihar

Patna, Apr 24(UNI) HDFC bank on Tuesday opened its 100th branch in Bihar,
with 60 percent of 3.65 lakh customers availing facility of digital banking.
The 100th branch was formally inaugurated by Mr Navin Puri, country head,
retail Branch Banking, on Fraser Road in Patna.
Sandeep S Kumar, branch Banking Head-Bihar and Jharkhand and other
senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion of inauguration
of 100th branch of the bank in the state.
"Our extensive 100 branch network in Bihar reiterates our commitment to take
formal banking services to every corner of the state.Our objective is to empower
more people in the state by offering them our full range of banking services
including digital initiatives," Mr Puri said adding that bank had rapidly expanded
its branch network in Bihar in the past five years.
"At present, HDFC bank has 100 branches and 273 ATMs in the state," Mr Puri
said adding that a total of 3.65 lakh customers were associated with the bank in
Bihar.
