Patna, Jan 23 (UNI) HDFC Bank Privartan, as part of its commitment to improve quality of education, today announced its plan to digitize 100 government schools in Bihar.
Under this initiative, HDFC Bank is working with the State Education Board to create digital classrooms in government schools. IT infrastructure such as desktop and projectors will be installed in classrooms to deliver the syllabus based e-learning content. The bank is also training teachers to use digital infrastructure.
Ms Ashima Bhat, group head- CSR, HDFC Bank and Mr Sandeep Kumar, branch banking head - East and North East, announced at an event held here today. The 100 government schools spread across seven districts including Patna, Kishanganj, Araria, Purnea, Jamui, Madhubani and Kaimur will get benefits under the programme, they informed.
