Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 5 2016 9:20PM HC issues notice to BJP-led Govt seeking reply on measures taken to tackle drought in MaharashtraNanded, Feb 5 (UNI) A bench of the Bombay high court at Aurangabad has issued a notice to the BJP-led central and state governments seeking a detailed information on the measures taken by the governments to tackle drought-like condition in Maharashtra. A bench of Justices R S Borde and A I S Cheema gave the direction to issue notices to both the central and state governments after hearing a writ petition filed by the president of the Nationalist Kisan Sabha and former MLA Shankar Anna Dhondge from Nanded district of the scarcity-hit Marathwada region. During the hearing yesterday, the bench asked the governments to give explanation on the matter mentioned in the petition.
