Patna, Feb 4 (UNI) Patna High Court on Saturday directed the Bihar Government, Central Government and Airport Authority of India (AAI) to consider afresh development of a greenfield airport in Partna alternative Airport in Patna in addition to the existing facility.
A division of Chief Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Patha Sarthy while disposing off a petition filed in this connection, directed the Central Government, Bihar Government and Airport Authority of India (AAI) to consider afresh the construction of an alternative Airport which should be greenfield one in Patna.
The Court, however, refused to direct for construction of an airport at a particular location since that falls squarely within the domain of public policy.
