HC demands release of Mirwaiz, alleges nobody being allowed to meet him

Srinagar, Jul 29 (UNI) Demanding immediate release of Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq from house detention, the Hurriyat Conference(HC) on Thursday alleged that nobody was being allowed to meet him.
Denouncing continued house arrest of chairman of HC Mirwaiz since August 5, 2019, a spokesman for the amalgam said mobile bunkers, armed vehicles have been parked near his Nigeen house and no one was being allowed to go inside.
He said three Executive Members of HC Prof Abdul Ghani Bhat,Bilal lone and Masroor Abaas Ansari held an urgent meeting today after they were denied permission to meet Mirwaiz. They strongly condemned arbitrary house detention of Mirwaiz since August 2019.
