HC allows admission to universities, institutions subject to conditions

Chandigarh, Sep 15 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court has allowed admissions to the universities and institutions subject to some conditions.
Stating this here today, a General Administration department spokesman said a writ petition came up for hearing before the High Court bench on September 8 and it has posted the matter for September 19, 2016.
He said in the meantime, the High Court has allowed to go ahead with the admissions in the Universities and Institutions subject to the condition that the concerned institutions and universities which are conducting counseling to ensure that the whatsoever admissions would be made against 10 per cent EBP vertical reserved amongst unreserved category, that would be subject to the outcome of the decision of the present petition as well as the decision of Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition.
