Haryana voters have given befitting verdict: CPI

Eluru, Oct 24 (UNI) CPI State secretary K Rama Krishna said that the people of Haryana had given a befitting verdict by rejecting the BJP in the Assembly elections.
Addressing a media conference here on Thursday, he stated that the BJP, which had been in the power at the Centre for the last five years, neglected all the issues, relating to the people of Haryana. The BJP went to polls based on the surgical strikes and abrogation of Article 370 but the voters rejected them, he opined.
"The voters of Haryana are intelligent and made the BJP bit the dust", he said. The economic slowdown has started showing its impact in Automobile sector. There are many automobile industries in Haryana in which lakhs of people are working, he said.
The CPI Secretary slammed the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh state government for its failure in tackling the sand crisis.
