Haryana vigilance nabs SDO, Asstt clerk for taking bribe

Ambala, Dec 5 (UNI) Haryana State Vigilance Bureau arrested an SDO and Assistant Clerk while taking bribe of Rs 5,000 at the agriculture department office here on Thursday.
The raid was conducted by a team of vigilance bureau formed by SP Suresh Kaushik who caught SDO Parveen Kumar and Subham red handed while accepting the bribe from complainant Mohit Kumar running a shop of pesticides at village Matheri. The SDO during inspection had raised certain objections and had asked Mohit to pay Rs 5000 to remove the objections. Mohit then met the SP and complained against the SDO.
Mohit was then sent to the SDO with currency notes smeared with chemical. As soon as Mohit handed over the money to the SDO, the Vigilance team arrested him red handed with bribe.
