Haryana Urdu Akademi organises seminar on 'Urdu Aur Hindi Ka Lisani'

Chandigarh, Sep 20 (UNI) Haryana Urdu Akademi on Friday organised a one-day seminar on 'Urdu Aur Hindi Ka Lisani (Bhashayi) Rishta' in Panchkula.
Notable scholars of Hindi and Urdu language attended the seminar, including Sheen Kaaf Nizam, Vigyan Vrat, Dr Athar Farooqui, Dr Madhav Kaushik and Dr Habeeb Saifi.
On the occasion, Director General of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau, Dr KP Singh, along with Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages, Sameer Pal Srow, inaugurated the Atal Adbi Kender or public library, in the premises of Haryana Urdu Academy.
In this library, people will get to read historical, political, literary, social, spiritual, critical and research books, as well as Hindi and Urdu papers from all over the country.
They also went around the library and took a look on books published by the academy. Director Chander Trikha was also directed to increase the facilities in the academy and also honour language specialists with award, from time to time.

Enter details on application/portal for domicile certificate issued manually, Govt to officials

Srinagar, Aug 5 (UNI) The Union Territory (UT) Government has asked all the authorities competent to issue Domicile Certificates in terms of Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020, to enter the details of all such certificates which are issued offline into the application/portal simultaneously to ensure accuracy in the data collection, real time monitoring as also avoid chances of any misuse.
