Haryana to expand mango mela nxt year with fruit saplings display and sale to boost farmers' income

Pinjore (Panchkula), July 13 (UNI) The three-day 33rd Mango Mela at Yadavindra Gardens concluded on a high note on Sunday, drawing more than 40,000 visitors and emerging as a major platform for mango growers, horticulture experts and fruit lovers from across the country.
Showcasing over 200 varieties of mangoes, the fair reinforced Haryana's growing reputation as a hub for horticulture, tourism and agri-entrepreneurship.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Haryana Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr Arvind Sharma said the overwhelming public response had demonstrated that mango is not merely a fruit but an important symbol of agriculture, rural economy, culture and entrepreneurship.
