Haryana reports five Covid deaths, 679 fresh cases

Chandigarh, Jul 9 (UNI) Haryana registered five more Covid deaths and 679 fresh cases on Thursday, raising the death toll to 287 and the infection tally to 19,369 in the state.
According to an official health bulletin, the deadly virus has claimed one life each in Gurugram, Faridabad, Yamunanagar, Sirsa and Palwal districts today.
Of the new cases, 182 have been reported from Faridabad district, 151 from Gurugram, 85 from Sonepat, 51 from Bhiwani, 46 from Rohtak, 34 from Ambala, 24 each from Karnal and Palwal, 21 from Panipat, 16 from Jhajjar, 14 from Sirsa, 13 from Nuh, seven from Jind, five from Fatehabad and two fresh cases each from Kaithal, Yamunanagar and Panchkula districts.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
