Haryana records lowest temp of 9.2 deg C

Pune, Mar 1 (UNI) The lowest minimum temperature of 9.2°C reported at Hissar (Haryana) over the plains of the country.
Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at many places over Marathwada; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at most places over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; at many places over Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat Region, Vidarbha, Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya; at a few places over west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch; at isolated places east Rajasthan; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over east Utter Pradesh; at many places over Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and coastal Karnataka.
They were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at most places over south interior Karnataka; at a few places over Rayalseema and near normal over rest parts of the country.
