Haryana Power Board workers unions protests against anti-employees policies

Kaithal , Mar 15 (UNI) The Haryana State Electricity Board(HSEB) workers' union affiliated to Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh, Dhand unit held a protest against continuance of contract job policy, no recruitment to fill vacancies, anti-employees policies of government, raised slogans and expressed their resentment.
Union president Jagdish Chander said the government was ignoring the interest of employees and keeping all their outstanding demands pending and was not taking any action. Many posts were lying vacant for long which had added to the problems of staff but the senior officials were not taking any step to recruit people.
He said they would continue their protest on daily basis till their demands were met. He warned that they would be forced to intensify their protests if government failed to take appropriate action on demands.
