Chandigarh, Aug 23 (UNI) Haryana Police received two Smart Policing awards 2019 instituted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in a function held in New Delhi on Friday, a statement said here.
According to the statement, the awards were given in recognition of best practices under ‘Digital Investigation, Training and Analysis Centre (DITAC)’ in the category of training and capacity building and for best practices under ‘Apki Sangini’ in the category of community policing.
Appreciating the officers, Director General of Police Manoj Yadava said that it is proud moment for the entire police force as it has got recognition at national level. He also congratulated the team of DITAC and Apki Sangini for their excellent performance and receiving the award.
