Haryana police bust gang involved in loot incidents, four arrested

Chandigarh, Jan 29 (UNI) Haryana police claimed to have busted a gang involved in several incidents of loot in Karnal, Jind and Kaithal with the arrest of four gang members from Assandh in Karnal.
Giving this information here on Wednesday, a Haryana Police spokesperson said that police also recovered three sharp-edged weapons and a vehicle from the arrested gang members, identified as Sachin and Mandeep alias Gula, both resident of Rahra in Karnal and Govinda alias Iron and Ramniwas of Malikpur in Jind.
The accused have confessed their involvement in 11 incidents of loot in Karnal, Jind and Kaithal districts. All the gang members were arrested by police team following a tip-off when they were heading towards Kaithal road from Khijrabad road in Assandh. The gang used to mainly target passers-by and pedestrians.
