Haryana hikes pension to WW II veterans, their widows

Chandigarh, Nov 21 (UNI) Haryana government has increased by more than twice, the financial assistance being given to World War II veterans and their widows.
This decision would benefit 4,060 beneficiaries in the state.
While stating this here on Tuesday, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said that the financial assistance of Rs 4,500 per month has been increased to Rs 10,000 per month. The financial implication on account of enhanced rate of financial assistance is estimated at over Rs 26.79 crore.
