Haryana govt declares Dec 27 as public holiday

Chandigarh, Dec 16 (UNI) In view of elections for the seat of mayor and members of the wards of various municipal corporations, the Haryana Government has declared December 27 (Sunday) as a public holiday, an official spokesperson said on Wednesday.
The holiday will be observed by all departments, boards, corporations, educational institutions under the state government and in all the factories, commercial establishments, shops etc falling within the jurisdiction of all wards of municipal corporations where the election is to be held.
