Haryana govt decided to open youth clubs in every village : MoS

Chandigarh, Jul 14 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State, Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh said that in view of the good work done by volunteers during COVID-19 pandemic, the state government has decided to open youth clubs in each village over the next four years to help create social awareness and nurture the spirit of cooperation.
Apart from this, he said, individual events will be held on August 29, the birth anniversary of Late Major Dhyan Chand in the state.
Mr Singh was meeting with Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju through video conferencing on Tuesday. During this, Mr Singh requested the Central Government to open more centres of Sports Authority of India and Sports Rehabilitation Centres in the state.
