Haryana govt committed to developing conducive environment for Startup ecosystem : Min

Chandigarh, Jun 14 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Friday said the state government is committed to developing a conducive environment for the Startup ecosystem and promotion of Entrepreneurial Education in colleges and universities in the state.
In this direction, the Higher Education department would launch an Annual Startup Competition – Startup Pratiyogita (SUPRATI) in colleges and universities across the state. The shortlisted students or teams will be awarded with Rs five lakh of seed money at the state level function, he said.
Mr Sharma said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has taken several steps to encourage the Entrepreneurial-Ecosystem in the country so that there is economic growth in India and new opportunities for employment can be created.
