Haryana govt assures full support to farmers against locust swarms

Chandigarh, Jul 13 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Om Prakash Yadav said on Monday that farmers need not worry about locust swarms, as the government and the administration is with the farmers, supporting them in this hour of crisis.
Mr Yadav examined the work of spraying being done by the Agriculture Department in village Daroli, Sesoth and Kurahwta in Mahendragarh constituency and other villages affected by locust.
The Minister said as per the directions of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, reports of losses caused by the locust swarms have been sought and special girdawari will be conducted, wherever the damage is more.
