Haryana decides to extend supply of fortified food to all PDS

Chandigarh, July 18 (UNI) With a view to giving momentum to food fortification in the state, the Haryana Government has decided to extend the supply of fortified food to all Public Distribution System (PDS) shops in Ambala and Karnal districts from September 1 thorugh HAFED.

This was disclosed by Mr Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, at a meeting held on food fortification, including oil, milk, wheat and rice, by the Department of Food & Supplies, here today.
