Haryana creates 20 new posts of District Municipal Commissioners

Chandigarh, Aug 7 (UNI) In line with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s commitment to decentralize the powers to ensure more development at grass root level, Haryana government has created 20 new posts of District Municipal Commissioners.
Stating this here on Friday, Urban Local Bodies Department Director General Amit Kumar Agrawal said that a notification has been issued in this regard.
He said that in all the districts (except Charkhidadri and Faridabad) a District Municipal Commissioner each would be posted whereas, Charkhidadri district would be clubbed with Bhiwani district.
