Haryana constitutes sub-committee to monitor water availability situation

Chandigarh, Jun 13 (UNI) Haryana government has constituted a sub-committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to constantly monitor the situation of water availability in the state during summer season.
Other members of the sub-committee includ the Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management department, Additional Chief Secretaries, Irrigation and Water Resources and Public Health Engineering departments and representatives of Haryana Space Applications Centre, Hisar and India Meteorological Department, Chandigarh.
The sub-committee will meet on a monthly basis.
