Haryana cabinet approves amendment in Solar Power Policy

Chandigarh, Mar 8 (UNI) Haryana cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here on Thursday, approved amendment in the Haryana Solar Power Policy-2016.
Under the Amendment, wheeling and transmission charges will be exempted for ten years from the date of commissioning for all captive solar power projects which have submitted applications to HAREDA for registration of project, purchased land or have taken land on lease for 30 years and have bought equipment and machinery or invested at least Rs one crore per MW for purchase of equipments and machinery for setting up of such captive solar power projects till February 13,2019, while cross subsidy surcharges and additional surcharges are not applicable for captive solar power projects.
No waiver of wheeling and transmission charges, cross subsidy surcharges and additional surcharges will be given to solar power project set up for third party sale.

UP: Six get lifer for murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005
