Haryana: 5 IPS officers transferred

Chandigarh, Sep 17 (UNI) Haryana government has issued transfer and posting orders of five IPS officers with immediate effect on Friday.
Ms Charu Bali, ADGP/SCB, Gurugram has been given the additional charge of Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurugram. Ms Mamta Singh, IGP/Karnal Range, Karnal has been given the additional charge of IG/STF.
Ms Amitabh Singh Dhillon, IG/STF with additional charge of Transport Commissioner, Haryana and Secretary to Transport Department has been posted as IGP/Modernization, Haryana, Additional Charge of Transport Commissioner, Haryana and Secretary, Transport Department.

Accident claims cop

Narsinghpur, MP, Oct 24 (UNI) A constable died when a car veered off a culvert on Sunday at Panjara village in Mungwani Police Station limits, police said.
The deceased was identified as Sandeep Uike (35). The body was sent for postmortem.

Cluster Model 2 0 to boost second dose coverage in Uttar Pradesh

Bye-election: 17 Companies of Central Paramilitary Forces deployed in HP

Shimla, Oct 24 (UNI) As many as 17 companies of Central Paramilitary Police including six ITBP, three SSB, three CRPF and five BSF have been deployed to conduct safe and free bypolls in Himachal Pradesh as polling is scheduled on Oct 30 and counting of votes on November 2.

Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh, Sanjay Kundu said in a statement issued here today that apart from 17 companies, 6,000 police personnel of different ranks of the state police have also been deployed for election duty.
